Navigation functions include the statistical processing of measured data points and their substitution into algorithms simulating physical reality. Guidance functions include the formulation of specific equations and control laws to achieve a desired position in space. Control design and analyses processes consist of the development of the control requirements for aircraft, launch vehicles and/or spacecraft. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.Basic QualificationsFinal Secret Clearance is required to start this position.Experience with Guidance, Navigation, Autopilot, Inertial Tracking, Image Processing, Modeling/Simulation, HWIL, and/or Performance Analysis for missile products.Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask.Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking.Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs.Desired skills are additional skills that are nice to have and help narrow down a qualified candidate pool.Learn more about desired skills here.Desired SkillsPrior Engineering Management ExperienceStrong Interpersonal SkillsProposal Development Experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) DevelopmentControl Account Manager (CAM) experience;Earned Value Management ExperiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
