Job Description

Green Meadows Partners is recruiting for an experienced Director of Energy Service Operations to join a growing organization specializing in large-scale branding, signage, and project solutions.

This is a senior leadership opportunity requiring a strong background in electrical projects, operations management, customer account leadership, and team development. We're looking for someone who understands the technical and operational complexities of electrical projects and can successfully oversee project execution, coordinate resources, manage customer expectations, and drive profitability.

Direct experience with electrical projects and systems is essential. Experience limited to lighting retrofits will not be sufficient for this position. The ideal candidate combines electrical industry knowledge with strong business and operational leadership skills and can confidently lead both customer relationships and project management teams.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the overall operations, execution, and financial performance of assigned customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and senior leadership
  • Lead customer meetings, provide project updates, and proactively manage expectations
  • Supervise, mentor, train, and develop a team of Project Managers
  • Provide guidance and support in resolving complex project challenges
  • Coordinate with estimating, engineering, production, logistics, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution
  • Monitor project schedules, performance reports, forecasts, and operational results
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs across production, shipping, and installation
  • Ensure customer branding requirements, implementation standards, and project expectations are consistently met
  • Maintain accurate and timely internal reporting and operational documentation
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction, team performance, and overall efficiency
  • Support training initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to address customer needs and strengthen operational performance

What We're Looking For

  • Direct professional experience with electrical projects, electrical systems, or electrical project operations required
  • Strong understanding of electrical project execution, coordination, and technical requirements
  • Experience leading operations, project management teams, or complex customer accounts
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, electrical, construction, or service environment preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop Project Managers
  • Experience overseeing project budgets, financial performance, and profitability
  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical and operational challenges
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Epicor, Microsoft Teams, or Smartsheet preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel periodically as needed

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This position offers the opportunity to take an active leadership role in an organization where customer relationships, operational execution, and team development are essential to success.

You'll work closely with executive leadership, oversee important customer accounts, and have a direct impact on project performance, profitability, and the development of your team.

For an experienced operations leader who enjoys the combination of customer management, project execution, financial oversight, and developing people, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
