Our client is seeking a Cost Accountant to support product costing, inventory analysis, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations, procurement, and engineering teams to provide accurate cost data and support key business decisions.

Responsibilities

\n
• Analyze product costs and maintain costing data
\n
• Support inventory reconciliations and cycle counts
\n
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
\n
• Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labor routings
\n
• Conduct variance analysis and cost-saving evaluations
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
\n
• Provide ad hoc reporting and business analysis
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
\n
• 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience
\n
• Manufacturing experience preferred
\n
• Strong Excel skills required
\n
• ERP system experience preferred
\n
• SQL and reporting tool experience a plus
\n
• Strong analytical and communication skills
\n
